Welcome to Friars Primary School Newsround and our June Sports Day Special.

In this bulletin, we will join the entire school at The Imperial War Museum where the school teams will battle it out for the highest team score of the day. It was a fabulous day and our parents offered us a really special treat at the end by taking part in a couple of events too, including the classic “Tug A War”!!!

The finals scores were as follows:

• Blue Team: 740 points
• Yellow Team: 780 points
• Green Team: 830 points
• Red Team: 835 points.

A huge well done to the red team for just picking the greens to the post.
