Friars School Day
Our School Day begins with a soft start between 8.45 and 9am. Children are welcomed at the school gate by senior staff, and from Year 1 upwards, they walk into school by themselves. Early years parents take their children to the Nursery and Reception classrooms.
After school, our gates open at 3.20pm and parents walk around to the early years playground or main school playground to collect their children. Parents will collect their children from classrooms at 3.25pm for Early Years and Key Stage One and Key Stage Two teachers will bring their classes to the playground to meet parents at 3.30pm. Any children who are collected late will be taken to the school office by their teachers or teaching assistants.
