The Great Fire of London

On Wednesday, as part of our History topic about the Great Fire of London, Year 2 visited Temple Bar Gate to find out more about the life of Sir Christopher Wren. He was one of the chief architects in the redesign of London after the fire of 1666.

We found out about how the fire spread through London and tried writing with quills. We designed our own buildings and tried to build the tallest tower. We also dressed up in 17th Century costume
